How it works
Wroomly is a marketplace for sublets near the University of Michigan. Verified UMich students carry a blue check so you can see whose listing is from a real student, every listing is reviewed, and every conversation stays on-platform.
The flow
Suppliers post a sublet in a few minutes. Consumers filter by neighborhood, dates, price, and amenities to find a place that fits.
Talk to the other side inside the app. No phone numbers traded, no email back-and-forth, no Craigslist surprises.
Submit a quick application with your U-M info. Suppliers review and accept the candidate they want.
Put the sublease in writing: dates, rent, deposit terms, utilities. You arrange payment directly with the other student, by a method with a paper trail.
Coordinate keys and check-in inside the platform. Disputes (rare) get a human review from our team.
After move-in, both sides leave a public review. Reputation makes the next booking easier for everyone.
Trust & safety
We’re a small platform on purpose: blue-check verification, reviewed listings, and conversations that never go off-platform.
Sign in with your @umich.edu Google account and you get a blue check on your profile and your listings, so the other side can see you are a real U-M student.
An AI moderator scans each new listing for scams, off-platform contact, and discriminatory language. Borderline cases go to a human admin before they go live.
Once a host accepts your inquiry, you both get connected and can sort out rent, deposit, and move-in directly, on your terms. No middleman holding your money.
Suspicious DM, off-platform offer, or a listing that feels off? Hit Report and we look at it fast. Repeat offenders get banned.
